Radian Arc, AKSys, and Blacknut Partner to Bundle SHAKS Controllers with Cloud Gaming Services
Wireless Gamepad controllers will be fully integrated with Radian Arc’s content partner Blacknut for support across a range of platforms
PERTH, Australia & UIWANG, South Korea – June 16, 2022 – Cloud infrastructure provider Radian Arc and home entertainment device manufacturer AKSys Co. Ltd today announced a partnership to bundle low-latency SHAKS Gamepads with the cloud-based gaming platform Blacknut. The wireless controllers will initially be fully integrated with Blacknut to work across PC, Mac, iOS, and Android.
The bundle will be offered to telecommunications companies around the world in three different models:
- Bundling with a set-top box, Radian Arc and a telecommunications partner can create package deals with the Blacknut gaming service, a SHAKS Gamepad controller, a broadband internet plan, and a telco set-top box to offer a home console-like experience for customers.
- Bundling with a mobile phone, Radian Arc and a telco partner can pair Blacknut and a SHAKS Gamepad controller with either a customer’s existing mobile phone plan or a new phone with a 5G data plan, creating a handheld gamepad-like experience.
- Focusing on retail rather than a specific product, Radian Arc can work with a telco partner to create a unique program for their business, leasing the Blacknut platform and SHAKS Gamepad controllers to sell long-term subscription bundles to a telco’s customers.
